Music Theory (Winter Start) tuition is $175 for the 2026-2027 season. These classes are highly recommended.

Music Theory classes are on Saturdays directly following rehearsal. It is offered to students currently enrolled in the following groups and taught by ensemble conductors:

  • Overture Strings (Portland and Hillsboro)
  • Interlude (Portland and Hillsboro)
  • Chamber Strings (Portland only)

Dates: Winter Music Theory classes begin on the first day of winter term (dates vary depending on the ensemble). The last day of Music Theory for all groups is Saturday, April 24, 2027.

Tuition is non-refundable.
