Tuition Assistance Program
MYS believes that every student deserves access to music education, regardless of their background or economic circumstance. Musicians should still expect to pay a minimum tuition fee of $50 to participate in MYS. The $40 registration fee is waived for students who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch. Contact us with any questions.
Please submit your Tuition Assistance application after you receive your ensemble placement for the 2021-2022 season.
What you will need to submit:
- Completed application: Fill out the online form below or download and print a PDF application and mail to the MYS office (one application per student)
- Provide one of the following 2 options below (one upload per family):
- First two pages of your most recent federal tax return form 1040. Include the first page of Schedule C (if you were required to file it) Black out all social security numbers.
- OR A Free or Reduced Lunch eligibility letter from the student’s school
Please black out all social security numbers and banking information on your tax return before sending it to us.
Applicants will be notified by email of tuition assistance awards. There are no late fees assessed for applicants, and applicants should wait for their award notifications before making any payments.
