Tuition Assistance Program
Thank you for the scholarship. I am so happy and thankful that I can be in Metropolitan Youth Symphony (MYS) this season. MYS gives me the extra help I need to become a successful musician. Music is my passion, but it has always been hard for me to be in music programs because they can be very expensive. I can promise you that I will work hard in MYS. Your generosity has inspired me in so many ways. I hope one day I will be able to help someone out as you’ve helped me. –MYS scholarship student
MYS believes that every student deserves access to music education, regardless of their background or economic circumstance. We provide some level of financial aid to everyone with need, based on application materials. In our 2015-2016 season, MYS provided over $32,000 in aid to 76 students, a 33% increase from the previous season Musicians should still expect to pay a minimum tuition fee of $50 to participate in MYS, in addition to the $40 registration fee paid before auditioning.
