Symphony Orchestra will perform:

  • Theme and Variations on a “Subwoofer Lullaby” from the Minecraft soundtrackarranged by Haladar Wright, Kara Taylor, Elaina Stuppler, and Joseph Young. All four young musicians are part of The Authentic Voice commissioning program in partnership with Fear No Music’s Young Composers Project.
  • Symphony No. 5 in D Minor by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827). The German composer and pianist is considered one of the most brilliant Western composers of all time, and a crucial transitional figure connecting the Classical and Romantic ages of Western music. His fifth symphony is one of the best-known compositions in classical music and it is widely considered one of the cornerstones of western music.

Concert Orchestra will also perform American Suite in A Major, Op. 98a by Antonín Dvořák (1841-1904) and Symphony 104 (“London Symphony” No. 7) in D Major by Joseph Haydn (1732–1809).
