50th Anniversary Season Finale Concert – Register to play!
If you are an MYS alum and you still play regularly, we’d love to have you join Symphony Orchestra for part of the first half of our 50th Anniversary Season Finale Concert on June 17, 2025 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. The second half of the performance will feature guest star performer esperanza spalding, an MYS alumna herself.
You may be assigned to one or several pieces in the program. Assignments will be shared in early spring, 2025.
Schedule:
Rehearsals & Concert:
(it’s not required to be available for ALL rehearsals)
- Sun 6/8, 4:00-7:00pm: rehearsal
- Sat 6/14, 7:00-9:30pm: rehearsal
- Sun 6/15, 7:00-9:30pm: rehearsal
- Mon 6/16, 7:00-9:30pm: rehearsal
- Concert: Tue 6/17, call time approx. 2:30pm – Concert @ Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
Alumni Event:
- Sun 6/15, 4:00-5:30pm: Alumni party at Polaris Hall (RSVP e-mail & information coming soon)
