Combined with our recent award from the Oregon Community Foundation, this $155,000 two year initiative allows us hire staff and build capacity to grow the organization. Many many thanks to the Meyer Memorial Trust for this incredible award.
Tuesday, December 2, Music Director Andres Lopera, assisted the Fox12 News Crew in giving the weather report. This fun and interactive experience was part of a live auction item from our first annual gala, CRESCENDO, in May 2014. The item winner donated back the experience to help bring MYS to more people via the news. Check out this very fun weather report!
MYS is thrilled to announce that the Oregon Community Foundation has awarded us with a 2-year grant of $35,000 to support a multi-year effort to raise our profile and tell the story of our organization. This project will align our communications with our strategic and artistic plans in order to meet and grow our multi-year earned and contributed income goals and to ensure the availability of tuition assistance funding so that no child is turned away due to financial constraints. Thank you to OCF!
