Hi everybody,

Below is our rehearsal plan for Sunday, April 14. Please note that this is the first of three straight Sundays with sectionals.

Rehearsal Plan for Sunday, April 14

  • 4:00pm-5:30pm: Tutti (except percussion)
    • Huapango
    • Oboe Concerto (no soloist)
  • 4:00pm-5:30pm: Percussion with Kevin
  • 5:30pm-5:45pm: Break
  • 5:45pm-7:00pm: Sectionals
    • Strings w/ coaches: Rimsky-Korsakov
    • RGR with everyone else: Rimsky-Korsakov

Please listen to recordings of all the repertoire (and especially the Oboe Concerto, since we’ll read it this Sunday). You can find audio/video on the right column on this webpage (or scrolling all the way down if you’re on a mobile device).

  • 4:00pm-4:45pm: Portland Beauty (with tour guests)
  • 4:45pm-5:30pm: Huapango (with tour guests)
  • 5:30pm-5:45pm: Break
  • 5:45pm-6:30pm: Music for an Imaginary Cartoon (YCP piece)
  • 6:30pm-7:00pm: Avsker’s Freedom Overture (YCP piece)
