Rehearsal Plan: Concert Week – Jan 9, 10, 11, 12

Hi all,

I was happy with the progress on Rachmaninoff on Sunday (Jan 5). Thanks for practicing! Please keep up the good work, and make sure to 1) listen to, and 2) practice the other pieces between now and our Thursday evening rehearsal.

Also, as I mentioned, I posted Hunter Noack’s practice recordings here. These are private and not to be shared. This is your first-hand source for knowing exactly how our soloist plays the piece. It’s useful to follow along with a full score, which you can find on the MYS digital library (password playmys) or here.

Our plan for the week is below (subject to changes).

Please remember that our evening rehearsals this week will take place at The Madeleine Parish – 3123 NE 24th Ave, Portland, OR 97212. Look for the MYS sign.
